What is Orforglipron?

What makes it different is chemistry. In the ATTAIN phase 3 program, adults with obesity and without diabetes lost an average of 7.5% to 11.2% of body weight over 72 weeks depending on dose. In participants who also had type 2 diabetes, average loss ran 5.1% to 9.6%. That places orforglipron below injectable semaglutide and tirzepatide on raw efficacy — the trade is a pill with no administration rules.
