Editorial and medical content policy

Effective August 21, 2026

Scope

GLPFinders publishes a local clinic directory and educational medication content. We do not diagnose, prescribe, dispense medication or replace advice from a licensed clinician.

Source hierarchy

Medication indications, dosing, warnings and regulatory status should be supported first by FDA materials and prescribing information; outcomes by peer-reviewed primary trials; prices by current manufacturer or payer terms. Secondary sources are used only for context.

Authorship and review

The GLPFinders Research Desk prepares content. A named medical reviewer is shown only after that individual has reviewed the page. If no independent clinical review occurred, the page says so plainly.

Update cadence

Volatile pricing, shortage, compounding and coverage claims are checked at least monthly. Medication fundamentals are reviewed at least every six months or when regulators or manufacturers publish a material change.

Commercial independence

Directory inclusion is not a clinical endorsement. Sponsored placement and affiliate relationships, if introduced, must be labeled and cannot change factual eligibility or safety language.

Corrections

Material corrections are made promptly and reflected in the visible updated date. Readers and clinics can submit evidence through the corrections process.
