This guide is educational and is not medical advice. A listing in this directory is not a recommendation. Talk to a licensed clinician about your own situation.

Check the pharmacy

The FDA runs a campaign called BeSafeRx to help consumers learn how to buy prescription medicines safely online. The page links to a tool for looking up a state-licensed online pharmacy.

The BeSafeRx page we checked says its content was current as of September 21, 2020. Use it as a starting point and confirm a pharmacy's license with your state board of pharmacy.

Report a problem

MedWatch is the FDA's program for reporting serious reactions and product quality problems with human medical products. The FDA describes reporting as online and voluntary for health professionals, patients and consumers.

Find a clinician

MedlinePlus links to directories for finding health professionals, including DocInfo from the Federation of State Medical Boards. This directory does not verify a clinician's license, so confirm it independently.
